1. Accepting these Terms
By accessing or using Widely, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of information connected to your account, for protecting your sign-in credentials, and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
3. The service
Widely provides tools for capturing business cards, organizing contact information, searching saved records, and using related communication features. Features may vary by device, operating system, region, account type, or app version.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain responsibility for business-card images, contact details, notes, and other content you submit. You give Widely Labs permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You must have the right to collect and use the contact information you add. Widely does not give you permission to contact people unlawfully, send spam, or violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use Widely for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity.
- Do not upload malware, interfere with the service, bypass security, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not use the service to violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
6. Third-party services
Widely relies on third-party platforms and service providers to operate features such as authentication, cloud processing, AI-assisted information management, and advertising. Information about how these providers process information is described in the Privacy Policy. Some user-facing third-party services, including Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, may be subject to their own terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also perform maintenance or respond to security, legal, or technical issues. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Widely at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the service or others, comply with law, or address security or operational risk. You may delete your account through the account-deletion option in the app. You may also request assistance by emailing [email protected] or visiting our account-deletion page.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Widely is provided “as is” and “as available.” Automated recognition, extraction, and classification may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you should review important contact details before relying on them. We disclaim warranties that cannot lawfully be required.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Widely Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version and revise the date above. Changes will apply from the stated effective date. Where required by law, we will provide advance notice or request your agreement before material changes take effect.
